The Yang Family Residence in the Tribe

The Yang Family Residence in the Tribe is located in the Tribe Village, Qincheng Township, Xinfu District. It faces south with a north orientation and covers an area of 1,502 square meters. The exact year of its establishment is unknown. Currently, only the building’s tower remains, which is a relic from the Qing Dynasty. The main tower has two stories, spans three bays in width, and is four rafters deep, featuring a hanging gable roof and decorative bracket sets. It is connected with interlocking beams. Tribe Village: Tribe Village is located fifteen kilometers north of Xinzhou City, nestled against the Golden Mountain to the south and facing the Yunzhong region. Situated in a semi-hilly area, the terrain lies between two mountains, sloping lower toward the southeast. To the east it borders Zhang Village in Qincheng Township, to the south it connects with Paochi Village and Houqincheng Village in the same township. Within its boundaries are Quanzigou and Xiaotribe, featuring interwoven land borders. The village includes both flat and sloped land. The total land area is 11,408 mu, of which 10,400 mu are arable and over 1,000 mu are forested. The village has 2,229 households and a population of 6,455.
