Tribe Dragon King Temple

The Tribe Dragon King Temple is a cultural heritage site protected by Xinzhou City.

The Tribe Dragon King Temple is located in Buluo Village, Qincheng Township, Xinfu District. It faces east and sits west, covering an area of 805 square meters. Its founding date is unknown. The existing Dragon King Hall features architectural elements from the Yuan Dynasty, while the Mountain Gate and Yama Hall were rebuilt on the original site in 1997. The Dragon King Hall is three bays wide and four rafters deep, with four-tier bracket sets, painted beams and carved rafters, and a single-eave gable and hip roof. The murals inside are well-preserved. In 1998, the former People’s Government of Xinzhou City (a county-level city) designated it as a municipal cultural heritage site.

Buluo Village: Located 15 kilometers north of Xinzhou City, Buluo Village lies against the Golden Mountain and faces the Yunzhong region. It is situated in a semi-hilly area, nestled between two mountains with lower terrain to the southeast. To the east, it borders Zhang Village in Qincheng Township; to the south, it connects with Paochi and Houqincheng Villages in the same township. The village features Quanzi Gully and Xiaobuluo, with interwoven boundaries. The village has both flat and sloped land. The total land area is 11,408 mu, including 10,400 mu of arable land and over 1,000 mu of forested land. The village has 2,229 households and a population of 6,455.
