Yuqu Relics Site

The Yuqu Relics Site is a cultural heritage protection unit of Xinfu District.

The Yuqu Relics Site is located about 1,000 meters east of Beibao Village, Lancun Township, Xinfu District. The site spans approximately 600 meters from east to west and 700 meters from north to south, covering a total area of around 420,000 square meters. The cultural layer is 0.5 to 2.4 meters thick, and gray pottery shards with rope patterns have been collected from the surface. It belongs to the Longshan Culture of the Neolithic Age. On April 10, 1985, the former People’s Government of Xinzhou City (a county-level city at the time) designated it as a municipal-level cultural relics protection unit.
