Yincun Site

The Yincun Site is a cultural heritage site protected by Xinzhou City.

The Yincun Site is located on a terrace on the north bank of the Yunzhong River, about 50 meters northwest of Yincun Village in Qincheng Township, Xinfu District. The site stretches 800 meters from east to west and 1,000 meters from north to south, covering an area of approximately 800,000 square meters, with a cultural layer thickness of 0.8 to 2.5 meters. Artifacts collected include gray pottery shards made of clayey and sandy fabrics, decorated with cord impressions. It belongs to the Longshan Culture remains of the Neolithic Age. On June 6, 2007, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage protection site by the People's Government of Xinzhou City.
