Fanshen Mountain, also known as Fanship Mountain. The name "Fanship" (literally “Rice Immortal”) is said to have been conferred by Emperor Kangxi himself. 　

Introduction:

Fanshen Mountain is located to the south of Taihuai Town, about 1 kilometer from the Great White Pagoda. With its beautiful scenery, it is known as the "Little South Platform." In summer and autumn, when you look up from the foot of the mountain, you’ll see lush green grass, vibrant flowers, dense forests, and a brilliant tapestry of colors—with a splash of red amid the greenery. The temple is built at the mountaintop, hidden among the verdant trees.

Taihuai Town: Originally located in the central part of Mount Wutai by the Qingshui River, Taihuai Town got its name because it is surrounded by five peaks.
