Nanru Stage

The Nanru Stage is a cultural relic protection unit of Wutai County.

The Nanru Stage is located in Nanru Village, Rucun Township, Wutai County. The temple it once served has been destroyed, leaving only the stage. Both its construction and renovation dates are unknown, but the existing structure dates back to the Qing Dynasty. Facing north, it covers an area of 238 square meters. The stage features a stone foundation, a three-bay width, six rafters in depth, a single-eave hipped roof with a front roll shed and a rear gabled roof, a seven-rafter rear corridor-style framework, and bracket sets and other components. It is situated on the southern side of the village. In July 1985, the People's Government of Wutai County designated it as a county-level cultural relic protection unit. Nanru Village: Nanru Village is located 0.5 kilometers south of the Changyuan Line of the Xinzhou-Taiyuan tourist road and 0.5 kilometers from the township government, offering convenient transportation. The village has an average temperature of 6.5°C, a frost-free period of about 110 days, annual sunshine hours of 2,700, accumulated temperature above 10°C of 274 hours, and average annual rainfall of 400–500 mm. The climate is mild, and the main crops include corn, yam, and miscellaneous grains.
