Highlights: The memorial hall was built in 1962 and is the only comprehensive revolutionary memorial hall in China that fully reflects the 12-year glorious struggle history of the Shanxi-Suiyuan Party, government, military, and civilians. Introduction:

The Shanxi-Suiyuan Revolutionary Memorial Hall is situated in Caijiaya Village, 17 li west of Xing County. Nestled against Yuanbao Mountain to the north and facing the Weifen River to the south, it boasts picturesque scenery and is a national key cultural relics protection unit. It is also designated as a base for patriotic education, revolutionary tradition education, and national defense education by the province, prefecture, and county, and is one of Shanxi Province's "Top Ten Civilized Scenic Spots." During the Anti-Japanese War and the Liberation War, the Administrative Office of the Shanxi-Suiyuan Border Region and the Shanxi-Suiyuan Military Region were headquartered here. On March 25, 1948, central leaders including Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, and Ren Bishi crossed the Yellow River to Caijiaya, where they delivered the famous "Speech at the High-Level Cadres Meeting of the Shanxi-Suiyuan Border Region" and "Talk with the Editors of the Shanxi-Suiyuan Daily." Major exhibits include the former residences and temporary lodgings of comrades such as Mao Zedong, Zhou Enlai, Ren Bishi, and He Long, the site of the Shanxi-Suiyuan Cadres Conference (formerly the Shanxi-Suiyuan Military Region Auditorium), the site of Mao Zedong’s talk with the editors of the Shanxi-Suiyuan Daily, and the "Six Willow Pavilion." Supporting exhibits include the Shanxi-Suiyuan Border Region Revolutionary Struggle History Exhibition Room, the Memorial Exhibition of Mao Zedong’s Revolutionary Activities in Caijiaya, the Memorial Exhibition of Comrade Zhou Enlai, the Exhibition on the Life and Deeds of Marshal He Long, and the Exhibition Room for Visits by Party and State Leaders to Xing County.
