The Former Site of the Jin-Sui Sub-Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in Beipo is located in Beipo Village, Caijiaya Township, Xing County. In August 1942, the Jin-Sui Sub-Bureau of the CPC Central Committee was officially established and stationed in Beipo Village. Guan Xiangying served as the secretary, Lin Feng as the deputy secretary, and committee members included He Long, Zhou Shidi, and others. After its establishment, the Jin-Sui Sub-Bureau streamlined the leadership structures of the Party, government, military, and civilians, readjusted the administrative divisions, unified the jurisdictions of Party, government, and military organizations, achieved the Party’s unified leadership, strengthened the building of Party organizations, political power, and national defense, and created favorable conditions for overcoming economic difficulties, intensifying the struggle against the enemy, and restoring and expanding the base areas.

The buildings within the Former Site of the Jin-Sui Sub-Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in Beipo were all constructed during the Qing Dynasty. They face south and cover an area of approximately 30,000 square meters, with a built-up area of about 1,982 square meters. There are currently four courtyards preserved: the Upper Courtyard, East Courtyard, Middle Courtyard, and Lower Courtyard.

As the headquarters of the highest CPC leadership body in the Jin-Sui Border Region, the Former Site of the Jin-Sui Sub-Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in Beipo unified the leadership of Party, government, military, and civilian work across three regions: Northwestern Shanxi, Southwestern Shanxi, and Daqing Mountain. Together with the Party, government, and military leadership organs in Caijiaya Village a few hundred meters away, it served as the political, military, and cultural center of the Jin-Sui Border Region. During critical periods of the War of Resistance Against Japan and the Liberation War, it transformed the Jin-Sui Border Region into a crucial revolutionary base area for rear support and strategic buffering, ensuring the victory of the New Democratic Revolution.

On October 7, 2019, the Former Site of the Jin-Sui Sub-Bureau of the CPC Central Committee in Beipo was included in the eighth batch of National Key Cultural Relics Protection Units.
