Beiyuan Di Site (Second Batch of Provincial-Level Protected Sites)

Era: Neolithic Age

Location: Hilly area southwest of Beiyuan Di Village, Lijiazhuang Township, 3.5 km west of Fenyang City

The site is widely distributed, covering a total area of 12,000 square meters. Multiple ash pits are exposed on the surface, with the cultural layer located 2 meters below ground level and 0.4 meters thick. Exposed artifacts include pottery shards and stone tools, among others. Collected samples consist of pottery shards belonging to the Longshan Culture.
