Named after Nino Mountain in Changning County, this area has an average elevation of 1,875 meters, an annual average temperature of 13.9°C, and annual rainfall of 1,650 millimeters. The soil type is yellow earth, and it enjoys a unique tea-friendly climate with early morning fog and late evening mist. This creates an exceptionally favorable natural ecological environment for Nino tea. The Nino tea buds are plump, tender, and aromatic, with a naturally sweet aftertaste, long-lasting brewability, and are meticulously processed to produce high-quality tea known as a “treasure of Yunnan green tea.” It is one of the “Eight Famous Teas of Yunnan.” According to analysis by the Yunnan Tea Research Institute, the amino acid content in the tea leaves is 40% higher than that of other large-leaf variety teas of the same type.

Nino Mountain is located in a low-latitude plateau mountainous region, with fresh air, abundant sunshine, overlapping mountains, frequent clouds, and long periods of fog. During the dry seasons from late autumn to early spring, the surrounding plains and valleys of Nino Mountain are often shrouded in white mist. The land here is fertile, with loose, sandy yellow soil that offers good ventilation and drainage.
