Miao Kings' City Scenic Area

The Miao Kings' City Scenic Area is a major attraction within the Baoziling-Zhaoying Provincial Scenic Area in Songtao Miao Autonomous County and is also a provincial-level cultural heritage site.

Built in the early years of the Hongwu reign during the Ming Dynasty, the Miao Kings' City has a history of nearly 600 years. It boasts prominent historical and cultural heritage, canyon natural scenery, ancient military cultural sites of the Miao frontier battlefields, and rich Miao ethnic customs. It is also one of the largest well-preserved Miao war history and cultural heritage sites in the border region of Hunan, Chongqing, and Guizhou, making it highly valuable for tourism development and research.
