Jianhe

Highlights: Jianhe Hot Springs are located in Wenquan Village, Censong Town, Jianhe County, about 70 kilometers from Kaili. The hot springs have five springs with warm water that maintains a constant temperature of 38°C to 50°C year-round. Local Miao people have the custom of bathing naked in the hot springs. Upon arriving at the hot spring village, it is important to respect the local Miao customs and follow the arrangements made by guides or locals.

Transportation: There are dedicated shuttle buses from Jianhe County town to the hot springs. By car, drive from Kaili along National Highway 320 — the journey is over 80 kilometers and takes just over an hour.

Food and Accommodation: There are hotels available for stay at the hot springs. A local Miao specialty, Jiuxiangchong (commonly known as the "stink bug"), is a type of insect that is deep-fried and turns out crispy and delicious. It is said to nourish kidneys and strengthen the body.

Jinping

Jinping County town is close to Hunan, and heading south from here, you can reach Liping.

Transportation: There are buses from Kaili Passenger Transport Station to Jinping County, but the frequency is low. Alternatively, you can take a flight from Guiyang to Tongren City and then travel south to Jinping.

Accommodation: There are guesthouses and hostels in the county town where you can stay, with prices around 20–50 yuan.

Longli Ancient Town

This is the place where the famous Tang Dynasty poet Wang Changling was demoted. Located on the southwestern edge of Jinping County, it is 64 kilometers from the county town. Longli Ancient Town is built with pebble-framed walls, featuring crisscrossing streets, neatly arranged and harmonious architecture, and four city gates facing east, south, west, and north.

Transportation: You can take a bus from Jinping, which takes about an hour or more.

Food and Accommodation: You can stay at local farmhouses at around 10–15 yuan per person per day. Pickled fish, oil tea, Chongyang wine, and rice crisps are among the most common local foods.

Introduction: Jianhe is a beautiful small town by the Qingshui River. The hot spring water here is crystal clear, remaining so in both spring and winter, and never drying up in any season. Transportation: Buses to Jianhe run from Kaili Passenger Transport Station from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with one bus every half hour.

Kaili City, Guizhou

Censong Town: Censong Town of Jianhe County is located in the southeastern part of Guizhou Province and the northwest corner of Jianhe County. It lies at the junction of Jianhe, Sansui, Shibing, and Zhenyuan counties, at 108°34′ east longitude and 26°48′ north latitude, with an average elevation of 620 meters. National Highway 320 runs through the center of the town. It is 35 kilometers from Jianhe County town, 38 kilometers from Taijiang County town, 21 kilometers from Sansui County town, and 63 kilometers from Yangping Railway Station in Zhenyuan. Additionally, there is a provincial road from Censong Village leading to Baojing Township in Zhenyuan, extending all the way to Zhenyuan County town, spanning 52 kilometers.
