Jianhe Hot Springs

Jianhe Hot Springs is located in Wencun Village, Censong Town, Jianhe County, about 70 kilometers from Kaili. The hot springs feature five spring eyes with warm water that maintains a constant temperature between 38°C and 50°C throughout the year. It is a local Miao tradition to bathe nude in the springs. When visiting Wencun Village, it is essential to respect the local Miao customs and follow the arrangements of your guide or the locals.

Transportation: There are dedicated buses from Jianhe County to the hot springs. By car, take National Highway 320 from Kaili; the approximately 80-kilometer journey takes just over an hour.

Accommodation and Dining: There are hotels at the hot springs where you can stay. A local Miao specialty, Jiuxiangchong (commonly known as the "stinkbug"), is a type of insect that, when fried, becomes crispy and delicious. It is said to have kidney-tonifying and health-enhancing benefits.
