Banxi Waterfall is located within Banxi Township. The Banxi River has two sources: the northern source from Cengguang and the southern source from Xiaoguang. Nestled deep in the mountains and dense forests, the riverbanks feature rugged rocks, and the stream winds around mountains and cliffs, forming a series of waterfalls—including "Baishui Cave," "Window Cave," "Hu'ao Stream," and "Giant Salamander Cave"—as it cascades down from high above. With a total drop of 390 meters, it can be described as a “mountain stream waterfall, where fierce waves crash violently against the banks, sending up roaring sounds and swirling mists.” The area consists of the Baishui Waterfall Cluster, the Dadagu'ao Red Army Long March Battle Site, Xiaoguang Huanlong Nunnery, the Eight Immortals Cave Stone Pillars, Pingcen Lake, and Gaoba Songge Hall, making it a tourist destination for experiencing Dong ethnic culture and enjoying natural scenery.
