Anlong Zhaodi

Anlong Zhaodi is a national wetland park.

Zhaodi is located in the northeast of Anlong County. It was first built in the 33rd year of the Kangxi reign (1694 AD). The dike is lined with rows of weeping willows on both sides, featuring lotus ponds covering over 53,000 square meters, a 300-meter winding bridge, and several lotus-viewing pavilions and red-tiled corridors integrated into one scenic area. Nearby are historical sites such as the "Tomb of the Eighteen Gentlemen" from the Ming Dynasty, the "Tomb of the Eighteen Gentlemen" from the Qing Dynasty, the joint tomb of Xiang and Ma Hetu—leaders of the Muslim uprising during the Xianfeng and Tongzhi eras—the Forbidden City of the Yongli Emperor of the Southern Ming Dynasty, the Ming Dynasty Imperial Drill Ground, the Qing Dynasty Examination Hall, and the Stone Watchtower of the Wumiao Temple.

Transportation: Anlong is a key transportation hub connecting Guizhou, Yunnan, and Guangxi. Passenger trains on the Nanning-Kunming Railway stop at Anlong Station. By road, to the east it connects with the Guihuang Highway, approximately 300 kilometers from Guiyang; 64 kilometers to the west leads to the Maling River Gorge, and 69 kilometers to Xingyi. The Guiyang Long-Distance Bus Terminal (No. 32 Yan’an West Road) operates buses to Anlong daily at 8:00, 9:00, 10:00, and 17:00.
