Qianxiang Grassland

Qianxiang Grassland was established in May 2000 as one of the ten major projects of the Western Development Initiative in southwestern Guizhou at the time. It currently covers an area of 4,900 mu, with a current livestock capacity of 166 cattle (Simmental, Angus, Short Horn, Brahman, and Yunnan Black Cattle) and over 1,000 sheep (Southern Xinjiang Yellow Sheep and local goats). The terrain of the grassland is gently undulating, the climate is mild and humid, the soil is yellow loam, and it is planted with high-quality forage such as ryegrass, red clover, white clover, alfalfa, tall fescue, and king grass. Qianxiang Grassland was built to a high standard and integrates animal husbandry, forage cultivation, livestock product processing, and leisure tourism into an eco-friendly, green, healthy, and rural tourism destination.

The grassland is fully equipped with infrastructure such as fencing, a reception building, kitchen, and dining hall. Water, electricity, and road facilities are well-developed and functioning smoothly. There are currently 35 standard beds, 2 suites, and the dining hall can accommodate dozens of guests at once. The cuisine mainly features flavorful barbecue, along with a variety of farmhouse dishes.

Looking out over the grassland, the scenery is beautiful, the air is fresh, surrounded by green mountains on all sides and endless lush grasslands, creating a refreshing and delightful atmosphere — making it an excellent rural destination for leisure and vacation.

Anlong County – Qianxiang Grassland, accessible via Provincial Highway 210, with a driving time of about 30 minutes. No admission fee.
