Quwo County was the ancient capital of the "Jin State" during the Spring and Autumn and Warring States periods. In ancient times, "Taizi Beach" was a stretch of "Hushui" (a body of water). It got its name from the tragic fate of Prince "Shensheng," the eldest son of Duke Xian of Jin, who died trying to save his younger brother, Prince "Xiqi." The area also left behind a beautiful legend. Taizi Beach is located 1 kilometer north of Quwo County town. Here, the land stretches as far as the eye can see, with fertile soil, fresh air, lush green trees, and murmuring springs. Even in the snowy winter, you can enjoy a vibrant, fruitful pastoral scenery. In the pleasant spring of March, you can experience the charming scene of a garden-like farmstead—where people walk through the fields, birds sing from their perches, flowers bloom all around, and butterflies dance among the blossoms. Currently, Taizi Beach is the only national agricultural science and technology demonstration park and green food demonstration base in the province. The agricultural park covers an area of 1,000 mu and includes 80 greenhouse sheds.
