Jinyuan Scenic Area

Jinyuan Scenic Area is a national AAAA-level tourist attraction.

Jinyuan is located in the center of the East City New District of Quwo County, covering an area of 318 acres. Its thematic concept is inspired by a national treasure unearthed in Quwo – the inlaid bronze wine vessel, and includes eight major landscapes under the theme of “One Core, One Lake, Two Belts.” The “One Core” is the Jindu Cultural Center, which mainly comprises a cinema and theater, as well as a conference center, cultural center, library, archives, and a senior activity center, together forming a political and cultural hub. The “One Lake” is the Ruyi Lake, spanning 42 acres and featuring a musical fountain. The “Two Belts” are the Waoshui Yinghui and Forest Stream Water Landscapes, where flowers, trees, flowing water, and swimming fish create a scene so captivating that visitors find it hard to leave.

Construction of Jinyuan began in April 2012 and was completed in November 2014. It is currently the only classical garden scenic area in China that fully showcases the cultural characteristics of the Jin State.
