Chuming Cherry Valley Scenic Area

To provide visitors with a better travel experience, Luding County has specially launched five premium tourism routes for reference and selection. Among them, Chuming Cherry Valley Scenic Area is one of the five recommended routes.

The average altitude of Chuming Township in Luding County is 1,300 meters, with an annual average temperature of 15.5°C—free from severe cold in winter and intense heat in summer, and blessed with abundant sunshine. Xingfu Taoyuan (Happy Peach Blossom Land) is located within Chuming Township, approximately 17 kilometers from Luding County. It covers an area of 1,990 acres and includes two villages: Jinjiba and Chuming. It’s just over a two-hour drive from Chengdu, making it a great destination for weekend outings, spring excursions, or holiday leisure.

Luding County is fully advancing the construction of a rural revitalization demonstration zone in the Dadu River Basin. The Chuming area has undergone comprehensive planning, packaging, and promotion, with an investment of over 20 million yuan. Initiatives include rural domestic sewage and waste management, the development of supporting facilities such as visitor centers, viewing platforms, hiking trails, tourist toilets, and eco-friendly parking lots, as well as the upgrading of farmhouse inns, rural hotels, and tourism lodgings. A 3A-level rural tourism scenic area has already been established. Currently, efforts are focused on creating the “Romantic Cherry Valley and Happy Peach Blossom Landing,” striving to become a model township and village for rural revitalization in the entire province.
