The Stone Base of Liu Gong’s Ancestral Shrine is located at Guantianba on the left side of Jusi Mountain in Jusi Town. It was built in the 25th year of the Wanli era of the Ming Dynasty (1597) as a memorial shrine by Dang Zhang, the Youji (military officer) of Jianwu, in honor of General Liu Xian and his son Liu Ting. The stone base is rectangular, measuring 4.43 meters in length, 1.6 meters in width, and 1.18 meters in height. It is made of bluish sandstone, with slight weathering and some damage.

The stone base is divided into four sections. The front wall, left wall, and right wall all feature relief carvings. The front wall mostly displays low-relief patterns depicting Liu Xian in battle and court officials paying homage to the emperor. The figures are numerous, well-spaced, and vividly rendered. The middle section features clouds and lotus flowers, while the upper part shows floral designs. The left and right walls are adorned with patterns of flowers, clouds, and lotus flowers. The reliefs on the Stone Base of Liu Gong’s Ancestral Shrine are lively in form, exquisitely carved, and hold significant artistic value. They also serve as valuable material evidence for the study of the period. In 1981, the former Yibin Regional Administrative Office designated it as a cultural relic protection unit.

Jusi Town is located 64 kilometers west of the county seat. It borders Daba Miao Ethnic Township to the east, Yunnan Province to the south, Shipai and Caoying townships of Gong County to the west, and Xianfeng and Yuxiu Miao Ethnic Townships to the north. The town covers an area of approximately 140 square kilometers, with elevations ranging from 580 to 1,369 meters.
