Lizhuang Huanhou Palace

Huanhou Palace, also known as Zhangye Temple or Zhang Fei Temple, is located on Xianzishi Street in Lizhuang Town. It stands parallel to and within less than 100 meters of the current Jade Buddha Temple (Tianshang Palace), facing south and covering an area of approximately 1,450 square meters. The complex consists of side rooms, a main hall, a theater stage, and a front hall, forming a large quadrangle courtyard. Huanhou Palace was first built during the Qing Dynasty’s Qianlong reign, and was renovated in the second year of the Tongzhi era (1864). The current structure was rebuilt in the 31st year of the Guangxu era (1905) through funding raised by the local butchers’ guild in Lizhuang Town.
