The Zazimu Dock Ruins

The Zazimu Dock Ruins are a cultural heritage site protected by Yibin City.

The Zazimu Dock Ruins are located in Chentangguan Community, Nanguang Town, Cuiping District, and were built during the Qing Dynasty.

The dock is approximately 200 meters long and 25 meters wide. It retains rich cultural elements, including numerous stone carvings, hydrological markers, stone staircases, and stone mooring posts used to tie up boats.

On the western side where the Nanguang River flows into the Yangtze River, there are several large rocks. During the dry season, these rocks are about 10 meters from the river surface. The highest one is square-shaped, measuring 4 meters on each side, and an irregularly shaped rock features an inscription in traditional Chinese characters on its southern face: “奉/县主设渡口界/上下船支只不/得占此”. The characters for “县” (county), “设” (establish), “船” (boat), “只” (vessel), and “占” (occupy) are in traditional form, each about 17 centimeters tall. On the right side of the carving is a box-shaped hydrological marker inscribed with Roman numerals “Ⅹ” and “Ⅺ”, spaced 10 square boxes apart. Each small square is 10 centimeters in both length and width.

It is now a municipal-level cultural heritage protection site.
