Fengyao Fragrant Valley Water World is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Fengyao Fragrant Valley is situated in Pingyan Community, Mingwei Town, an area known for its beautiful natural environment, rich historical and cultural heritage, and abundant local produce. Covering an area of 2,800 mu, it was developed by Yibin Fengyao Fragrant Valley Water World Cultural Tourism Co., Ltd., which built it upon the region’s rich tourism resources, with consultancy and management provided by Guangzhou Zhi Lifang Tourism Management Consulting Co., Ltd., adhering to a customer-first service philosophy.

It is a comprehensive holiday resort integrating Fengyao Fragrant Valley Water World, flower fields, mountain waterfalls, hot spring SPA wellness, canyon rafting, tea and agarwood planting sightseeing, as well as tourism catering and accommodation. The first phase of the resort saw an investment of 380 million yuan, covering an area of 800 mu, mainly comprising two major projects: Fengyao Fragrant Valley Water World and the Flower Sea.

Fengyao Fragrant Valley Water World is the largest, most fully equipped, and most family-friendly outdoor water park in southern Sichuan. Themed around the local legend of Nezha, it features a large-scale “Dragon Palace” themed water sports park, a phoenix flower sea scenic belt, and a dinosaur kingdom, all integrated into one at Fengyao Fragrant Valley Water World.

The project includes a leisurely drifting river, a large family water play zone for both adults and children, an exciting Dream Tsunami Pool, a quadruple-color racing slide that combines speed and thrill, high-speed slides for the sensation of free fall, and a giant super funnel for water sliding. These large amusement facilities offer visitors a refreshing and joyful summer experience. The flower sea sightseeing base within the resort consists of a variety of blooming flowers, creating a visually stunning burst of color. The fragrant flower sea, just across a river from the water world, complements it beautifully and provides guests with an eco-friendly “sports and nature” experience to unwind.

The resort has successively hosted themed tourism events such as the Water Carnival Festival and the Rural Flower Festival to enhance tourism vitality and continuously evaluate the effectiveness of its development. Through the successful execution of these tourism festivals, the resort has further elevated its visibility and reputation.

JinQiu Lake Town: In 2019, Mingwei Town, Wangchang Town, and Qiuchang Town were abolished and merged to establish JinQiu Lake Town, with the administrative region of the new town encompassing the former areas of Mingwei, Wangchang, and Qiuchang.
