Golden Orchid Valley is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Yibin Rare Plants Garden (Golden Orchid Valley) is located by the Golden Autumn Lake in Xinxiǎo Community, Luojiā Village, Jǐnpíng Town, Cuìpíng District (within the core area of Sichuan Yibin National Agricultural Science and Technology Park). It is a flower-themed tourist attraction invested in and developed by Yibin Huifeng Landscape Engineering Co., Ltd.

Golden Orchid Valley (Golden Orchids Under Moonlight) covers an area of 2,406 mu, with a total investment of 380 million yuan. Its development period was from 2014 to 2018. With the thematic concept of "flowers as the expression, emotion as the meaning, and experience as the essence to create the most beautiful flower valley by the Golden Autumn Lake in Yibin," it develops ten major themed products such as flower seas, flower lakes, flower palaces, flower residences, flower corridors, and orchards through floral and fruit culture. Centered around the theme of orchids, it features attractions such as the Orchid World, Heavenly Cherry Blossoms, Ten Thousand Camellia Trees, Forest Plum Blossom Seas, Children's Playground, and Jungle Adventure Park.

Golden Orchid Valley integrates resources such as nature, technology, industry, market, policy, and culture. Supported by modern agricultural biotechnology, it highlights self-developed, factory-cultivated orchid varieties such as Cymbidium, Phalaenopsis, and hybrid orchids. Aiming to develop eco-tourism and leisure agriculture, it adopts an integrated approach combining the primary, secondary, and tertiary industries. Leveraging Internet+ technologies and taking full advantage of the “industry-academia-research-government” platform established by the Yibin National Agricultural Science and Technology Park, as well as the municipal and district government initiatives to develop urban leisure agriculture, it promotes integrated urban-rural and industry-village development. Based in Sichuan Province, it serves as a 4A-level ecological tourism destination themed around orchids, integrating functions such as "agricultural science and technology innovation, agricultural leisure and sightseeing, fun farming experiences, forest wellness vacations, science education and outreach, and business conferences and exhibitions." It is also a comprehensive demonstration model for Yibin’s leisure agriculture industry, a national demonstration base for the industrialization and technological innovation of orchid cultivation, as well as a youth science education and practice base for flowers and rare seedlings.

Currently, Golden Orchid Valley has completed Phase I, which includes over 1,000 mu of themed landscapes featuring orchids, cherry blossoms, camellias, plum blossoms, and peach blossoms, along with the construction of a reception center. The garden has cultivated, propagated, and planted more than 1,000 types of plants and flowers, including over 400 rare varieties (including nationally protected plants), particularly with over 100 new hybrid orchid varieties. Orchids are found throughout the valley, offering floral fragrance all year round. A variety of recreational activities are available, such as garden tours, photography, sketching, camping, grass sledding, bonfire parties, children’s play areas, board games, barbecues, and evening beer gardens.

From Yibin urban area: Take the Yibin-Yangzhou Expressway, exit at Xiangbi or Mingwei (turn left), then proceed to Qingqiao Village via Mingqiáng Village, Luojiā Village, and arrive at Golden Orchid Valley.

Jǐnpíng Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Cuìpíng District, Yibin City. Originally established as Jǐnpíng Market during the Qing Dynasty, it later became Gāodòng Township. In 1951, it was reorganized as Jǐnpíng Township, became a commune in 1958, reverted to township status in 1984, and merged with Yībùtān Township in 1992 to become a town. Located in the northeastern part of the district, it is 23 kilometers from the city center, covering an area of 82 square kilometers with a population of 29,000. It is traversed by the Sichuan-Yunnan Highway (mid-route) and the Neijiang-Kunming Railway.
