Guangji Peach Blossom Mountain Scenic Area is located in Yachi Village, northeast of Guangji Township, Dongpo District, Meishan City, 25 kilometers from the city center of Meishan, covering an area of 7.78 square kilometers. The scenic area features 5,600 acres of high-quality, specialty, and unique fruit orchards including nectarines, navel oranges, and pears. In 2008, the per capita income of farmers in the scenic area was 5,600 yuan. Yachi Village in Guangji Township is known as China’s Navel Orange Hometown and China’s Specialty Products Hometown. It has been designated as a pilot village for new rural construction and a “One Village, One Product” highlight village by provincial, municipal, and district authorities. It is also recognized as a provincial-level ecological civilization village and a national agricultural tourism demonstration site.

The Guangji Peach Blossom Mountain Scenic Area has successfully hosted five consecutive Peach Blossom Festivals with remarkable results. Leveraging the green mountains, clear waters, fragrant flowers, and fruit-filled landscapes resulting from industrial restructuring, and focusing on increasing farmers’ incomes, the village has built its economy around the charm of its thousand-acre peach orchards. It has developed rural tourism by using flowers as a magnet, festivals as a stage, culture as a means to connect with friends, and events as a platform for investment attraction. This has led to a distinctive industrial path that transitions from fruit farming for profit to a win-win situation of both flowers and fruits. The Peach Blossom Mountain Scenic Area boasts beautiful mountains and rivers, along with picturesque rural ecological surroundings and fragrant flowers and fruits all year round. In the sunny days of March, as spring breezes blow, thousands of acres of peach blossoms burst into bloom, displaying vibrant colors and stunning beauty. Visiting Yachi Village, you can enjoy farm-fresh cuisine, experience the tranquility of the countryside, explore ancient and modern cultures, and feast your eyes on the splendor of peach blossoms. Over 50 farm stays nestled among the green hills and peach groves warmly welcome guests from all directions to come for spring outings, flower viewing, and fruit tasting.

Guangji Township: A township under the jurisdiction of Meishan County. Established in 1935, it was incorporated into Fulong Commune in 1958, then split to form Guangji Commune in 1962, and reinstated as a township in 1984. Located in the western part of the county, it is 27 kilometers from the county seat, covering an area of 63 square kilometers with a population of 21,000. The Meishan–Hongya Highway runs through the area. It administers 13 village committees—Rengeng, Siying, Jinwang, Yachi, Weixing, Wuyi, Songzui, Huangfeng, Lian’ao, Shuiku, Conglin, Tongxin, and Jiguang—as well as the Guangji Residential Committee.
