Site of the Shewang Mansion

The Site of the Shewang Mansion is a protected cultural heritage site under Luzhou City.

The Site of the Shewang Mansion is located in Group 6, Malin Village, Mati Town, Gulin County, Sichuan Province, approximately 1.6 kilometers from the Mati Town government. With a history of over 600 years, it was the residence of Shewang Shé Chóngmíng, a late Ming Dynasty tribal leader.

On December 9, 2010, it was designated as part of the eighth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Luzhou City (Luzhou Municipal Government Letter [2010] No. 259).

Protected area and construction control zone: The boundary is based on the pedestals of the two stone lions at the Site of the Shewang Mansion. It extends 20 meters east, south, and west, and 15 meters north, covering an east-west length of 50 meters and a north-south width of 35 meters. The total protected and controlled area is approximately 1,750 square meters.
