Erlang Qing Dynasty Tombs

The Erlang Qing Dynasty Tombs are a cultural heritage protection unit of Luzhou City.

The Erlang Qing Dynasty Tombs (including the Tomb of Hu Shangzhong and His Wife, the Tomb of Hu Wenli and His Wife, and the Tomb of Chen Chongxian and His Wife) are located in Gulin County and date back to the Qing Dynasty.

On December 9, 2010, they were designated as part of the eighth batch of municipal-level cultural heritage protection units in Luzhou City (Luzhou Municipal Government Letter [2010] No. 259).

(1) The Tomb of Hu Shangzhong and His Wife is the burial site of Hu Shangzhong and Lady Lei. The protected area and construction control zone are defined as follows: taking the tomb boundary as the baseline, it extends 5 meters east to Longpai Highway, 2 meters south to the residence of Hu Dengfu, 5 meters west to the residence of Hu Dengyin, and 10 meters north to the Bamaowan Memorial Archway. It measures 10 meters from east to west and 12 meters from north to south. The total protected and controlled area is approximately 120 square meters.

(2) The Tomb of Hu Wenli and His Wife is the burial site of Hu Wenli and Lady He. The protected area and construction control zone are defined as follows: taking the tomb boundary as the baseline, it extends 2 meters east to a rural path, and 5 meters south, west, and north respectively. It measures 7 meters from east to west and 10 meters from north to south. The total protected and controlled area is approximately 70 square meters.

(3) The Tomb of Chen Chongxian and His Wife is the joint burial site of Chen Chongxian, Lady Zhao, and Lady Li. The protected area and construction control zone are defined as follows: taking the tomb boundary as the baseline, it extends 5 meters east, south, west, and north respectively. It measures 10 meters from north to south and 10 meters from east to west. The total protected and controlled area is approximately 100 square meters.
