Huangyan Black Dragon King Cave Ruins

The Huangyan Black Dragon King Cave Ruins is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Huangyan Black Dragon King Cave Ruins are located at the southern foot of Beimiaogeling on the north side of Huangyan Village, Wangqiao Town, Xiangyuan County. The site covers an area of approximately 850 square meters. The year of its establishment is unknown, but according to inscriptions on preserved steles, it was renovated in the third year of the Shunzhi era (1646) and the 29th year of the Guangxu era (1903) during the Qing Dynasty. Currently, there is one surviving stone kiln, one spring eye arched tunnel, one reservoir, the foundation of one side hall, the foundation of one main hall, one renovated stele, and one bluestone plaque. Both the spring eye and the reservoir contain water. The arched tunnel above the spring eye features an inscription in double-hook regular script reading “溢海涌津” (Overflowing Sea, Gushing Spring), dated to the third year of the Shunzhi era (1646).

Huangyan Village is divided into three villager groups, with a total of 111 households and 347 residents. This includes three one-child households and two households with two daughters. There are three natural villages, seven village party committee members, and three party subgroups. The village has a total of 17 party members.

(2) Resource Conditions

The village covers a total area of 1,500 mu, including 1,200 mu of arable land.
