Grandma’s Temple in Xingcungou is located in Xingcungou Village, Xiadian Town, Xiangyuan County. It faces south and has a single-courtyard layout, measuring 20 meters from east to west and 26 meters from north to south, covering an area of 520 square meters. The exact date of its establishment is unknown, but according to an inscription on the ridge beam support in the main hall, it was renovated in the 14th year of the Guangxu reign during the Qing Dynasty (1888). Along the central axis from south to north are, in sequence, the mountain gate (a reverse-facing theater stage), the main hall, with the east wing room, east side hall, and east and west side chambers on either side. The main hall is built on a 1-meter-high stone platform, with a width of three bays, a depth of six rafters, and a seven-rafter front-porch style framework. It features a single-eave flush gable roof, gray tubular tile roofing, three-step single-curved bracket sets at the column tops, and the original partition screens are no longer present. Approximately 10 square meters of figure-and-story murals remain on the two gable walls.
