Xiangyuan Wengong Shrine

The Xiangyuan Wengong Shrine is a cultural tourism attraction.

The Wengong Shrine is located in Shangcun Village, southeast of Gutan Town. It faces south and measures 21.2 meters from east to west and 15.8 meters from north to south, covering an area of approximately 335 square meters. The year of its establishment is unknown. The existing structure dates back to the Qing Dynasty and features a single-courtyard layout. Along the central axis are the Mountain Gate (a reverse-facing theater stage) and the Main Hall, with East and West Dressing Rooms, East and West Side Rooms, and East and West Side Halls on either side. The Main Hall has a width of three bays and a depth of eight rafters, with a nine-purlin front-and-rear corridor-style roof truss. The front eaves have been modified. Inside the hall, remnants of murals covering 18 square meters remain, though their content is unclear.

Shangcun Village (Southeast): 1. Overview of Shangcun Village (Southeast): Shangcun Village (Southeast) is a small village located in the central part of Gutan Town. It has flat terrain and is bordered by Zhaojiazhuang Village to the east and Xigang Village to the west. The village has a total of 157 households, with 536 residents, including 16 Party members. It is divided into four groups. The arable land area is over 835 mu, with per capita arable land of more than 1.5 mu.

2. Economic Sources of the Village: Agriculture remains the primary economic source for the entire village. Most villagers mainly grow corn, with a total of 824 mu of corn planted this year.
