Li Weigong Temple in Gancun is a cultural relic protection unit of Changzhi City.

Li Weigong Temple in Gancun is located in the northern part of Gancun, Guhan Town, Xiangyuan County. It faces south with a north orientation, spanning 45 meters from north to south and 36 meters from east to west, covering an area of 1,620 square meters. The exact date of its establishment is unknown, but according to an inscription on the main ridge of the main hall, it was renovated in the first year of the Yongzheng reign of the Qing Dynasty (1722). The existing main hall dates back to the Ming Dynasty, while the rest of the structures are from the Qing Dynasty. The temple features a single-courtyard layout, with the central axis currently retaining the mountain gate, offering hall, and main hall. On both sides are the eastern and western dressing towers, east and west wing rooms, and east and west side halls. The main hall sits on a brick foundation that is 1.3 meters high, with a width of three bays and a depth of six rafters. It has a single-eave, hanging gable roof, and the beam frame follows a seven-rafter structure. The bracket sets on the column tops are of the seven-camfered type with one upward curve and two upward curls, with one set of bracket arms per bay on the flat surface. Some of the doors and windows have been modified. The main hall houses 28.4 square meters of Qing Dynasty murals. There is also a Tang Dynasty Buddhist scripture pillar preserved within the temple. In 2007, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural relic protection unit by the People's Government of Changzhi City.

Gancun Village: Gancun is located 5 kilometers south of the county town, where the northern and southern Zhanghe Rivers converge at the southeastern edge of the village. It enjoys convenient transportation and abundant water resources. The cultivated land area covers 1,355 mu. The village consists of 3 groups, with a total of 220 households, a population of 835, and 27 Party members. The main sources of income for villagers are growing corn and vegetables, as well as making handmade noodles.
