Beitianzhang Guanyin Hall

Beitianzhang Guanyin Hall is located in the east of Beitianzhang Village, Xiadian Town, Xiangyuan County. It faces south and has a single-courtyard layout, measuring 13.89 meters from east to west and 5.78 meters from north to south, covering an area of 80.28 square meters. The year of its establishment is unknown. The existing main hall is a remnant of the Ming Dynasty, while the rest of the structures date back to the Qing Dynasty. Only the main hall and the east and west side halls remain. The main hall is three bays wide and five rafters deep, with a single-eave flush gable roof, a six-rafter front-porch framework, and bracket sets featuring a single dougong with a "sesame leaf" design. The doors and windows are no longer present. Partial suspended clay sculptures remain on both side walls, and about 7 square meters of murals survive on the central wall.
