Fangshan Yunfeng Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

In Luzhou’s Fangshan Mountain, Buddhism flourished because of the mountain, and the mountain gained fame because of Buddhism. The Yunfeng Temple on Fangshan consists of four parts: Old Yunfeng, Middle Yunfeng, New Yunfeng Temple, and Baofeng Temple. It follows the authentic Linji school of Buddhism and is the largest Buddhist complex in southern Sichuan and northern Guizhou. Among them, the Black-Faced Guanyin enjoys the greatest renown and draws the most worshippers. A local saying goes, “Pay homage to Mount Emei in the south, and to Yunfeng in the north.”
