Tongjia Town Ecological Agriculture Tourism Area
The Tongjia Town characteristic ecological agriculture tourism area is located in three villages—Qunle, Leshan, and Wujiayue—along National Highway 318 in Tongjia Town, Lezhi County. Tongjia is 14 kilometers away from the county seat of Lezhi.
The characteristic eco-agriculture sightseeing and leisure in Tongjia Town mainly revolve around modern ecological agriculture demonstration bases, including the Qunle Black Goat Breeding Base, the Lotus Root Base, the Leshan Village Nectarine Base, the Wujiayue Agricultural Transformation Model Land, and the Tongjia Mulberry Silkworm Base, among other ecological agriculture bases. Currently, the Leshan Village American nectarine base covers an area of 3,000 mu, the lotus root base has taken initial shape, and the mulberry silkworm base is spread across Tongjia. The Qunle Village Black Goat Breeding Base mainly raises high-fertility, delicious, and non-greasy local superior breeds—the Heishan Black Goat—and world-class premium meat sheep breeds—the Boer Goat—as well as carries out embryo production. Wujiayue Village is a national advanced village in rural reform. The village Party branch secretary, Shi Daoji, was honored as a national model worker and received a personal audience with China’s top central leaders. State leaders, as well as provincial and municipal officials, have visited the village on multiple occasions.
