Guanyin Hall of Xiangjiazhuang

Guanyin Hall of Xiangjiazhuang is located to the west of Xiangjiazhuang Village, Xiadian Town, Xiangyuan County. It faces west and has a single-courtyard layout, measuring 18.22 meters in length from east to west and 16.47 meters in width from north to south, covering an area of 300 square meters. The year of its establishment is unknown, but according to inscriptions in the temple, it was expanded in the 30th year of the Daoguang reign during the Qing Dynasty (1850). The existing structures are all remnants from the Qing Dynasty. Along the central axis from west to east are the main gate and the main hall, flanked symmetrically by side rooms on the north and south, as well as side chambers on the north and south. The main hall is three bays wide and four rafters deep, with a single-eave flush-gable roof and a five-rafter front porch structure. The original doors and windows are no longer present, having been replaced by a newly built front eaves wall. On the southern gable wall, there is an inscription stele from the 30th year of the Daoguang reign (1850) documenting land donation for the temple’s expansion.

The village has a total of 1,030 mu of land, including 733 mu of arable land. It is home to 70 households, with a population of 232, including 14 Party members and 2 probationary Party members. The village leadership includes 3 members of the Party branch committee, 2 members of the village committee, 5 village representatives, and 3 members of the financial oversight group.
