Beizhengou Mountain Spring Temple is a cultural tourism attraction.

Beizhengou Mountain Spring Temple is located 50 meters south of Beizhengou, a natural village in Mopannao Village, Shangma Township, Xiangyuan County. The temple faces south and features a single-courtyard layout, measuring 40.7 meters from north to south and 23.4 meters from east to west, covering an area of 952.4 square meters.

The existing structures of the Mountain Spring Temple date back to the Qing Dynasty. The central axis houses the main hall, flanked by three eastern side rooms and three western wing rooms, all built with brick and wood. The western wing is a two-story building.

The main hall is built on a 0.95-meter-high sandstone platform, featuring a five-bay width, six-rafter depth, and a seven-purlin front-corridor structure. It has a single-eave, flush-gable roof covered with gray clay tiles. The bracket sets atop the columns are of the three-curved single-lift style, with dragon head and elephant trunk motifs as ornaments. The interior fittings have been damaged and no longer exist. Approximately 15 square meters of murals remain on the upper parts of the eastern and western gable walls of the main hall. In the courtyard, there are two stone steles commemorating the temple’s renovation, both made of bluestone with round tops, inscribed in regular script. The steles are 1.75 meters high, 0.67 meters wide, and 0.2 meters thick, erected in the 16th year of the Republic of China (1927). In front of the main hall stand two ancient cypresses and two ancient locust trees.

The temple was once used as a classroom for a school and is currently not in use.
