Longmen Wanshou Palace

Longmen Wanshou Palace is a cultural heritage site protected at the provincial level in Sichuan Province.

Wanshou Palace is located on Paotai Street in Longmen Town, Gaoping District. The palace faces south and features a traditional quadrangle courtyard layout, consisting of a central hall, front hall, theater stage, side halls, and corridors. The main beams and frames are well-preserved. The current building covers an area of 1,078 square meters, with a total site area of 2,150 square meters.

It is said that Wanshou Palace was built by people from Henan who lived in Longmen Town during the Qing Dynasty. Serving as a guild hall for fellow townsmen to gather, it was originally constructed as a meeting place for the community. The building follows a classic quadrangle courtyard layout, facing south, and includes a central hall, front hall, theater stage, and wing rooms. The entire architectural complex is well preserved. On December 18, 2000, it was designated as a municipal-level cultural heritage site by the Nanchong Municipal People's Government. On June 1, 2007, it was further recognized as a provincial-level cultural heritage site by the Sichuan Provincial People's Government.
