The Gao Ping Jinfeng Mountain Scenic Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

The Jinfeng Mountain Scenic Area is located in Zouma Township, Gao Ping, and lies adjacent to National Highway 318. It derives its name from the legend of the Golden Phoenix and is the first 3A-level rural tourism scenic spot in Nanchong. The area features a 500-acre fruit and vegetable picking garden, a leisure zone highlighting the 24 solar terms of farming culture, the Luoxi River leisure corridor, an ecological orchard, and other attractions. Surrounded by mountains and water, the scenery is stunning. The picking garden is filled with a rich variety of colorful fruits and vegetables, surrounded by rare trees and woods — presenting a picturesque and poetic rural scene. Visitors can engage in planting, picking, cycling, and fishing here, immerse themselves in seas of flowers and orchards, revel in the landscape, and enjoy the beauty of nature as well as the joy of labor. The Luoxi River flows through the garden, and along the river, the leisure corridor, the large waterwheel by the shore, and the farming culture area depict a vivid picture of the local people’s hard work and dedication. The Farming Culture Twenty-Four Solar Terms Leisure Zone encompasses four major segments: Spring Plowing, Summer Tending, Autumn Harvest, and Winter Storage. It brings together a range of activities including the display of ancient agricultural techniques, hands-on participation in traditional handicrafts, and an immersion into farming cultural heritage. Visitors can sense the enduring legacy of a millennial farming civilization, trace the roots of Chinese culture, experience the pleasure of cultivation, and lose themselves in the timeless charm of the past.
