City Exhibition Hall

The Langzhong City Exhibition Hall is located at No. 50 Wumiao Street, west of Langzhong City—an officially designated National Historical and Cultural City. A Qing Dynasty–era building, it covers an area of over 2,000 square meters, with a construction area of more than 1,200 square meters. The layout is rigorous, elegant, and classic in style, boasting a history of over 200 years. Facing south, the entrance leads to a traditional quadrangle courtyard. Flanking the main courtyard on both sides are smaller courtyards, creating a “品”-shaped layout. There are four large and small skywells, and the complex includes a main hall, wing rooms, master bedrooms, and other spaces. Indoors are Qing Dynasty–carved lattice-back armchairs and exquisitely crafted wooden beds with ornate carvings. With an extremely tranquil living atmosphere, the structure features a mortise-and-tenon framework, grand architectural proportions, intricate craftsmanship, and is a typical example of a traditional large residence in northern Sichuan. Inside the courtyard, you can also find exhibitions on the historical evolution of Langzhong, a sculpture exhibition by Wu Mingwan, paper-cutting works by Wang Wenkun, as well as an ancient Ming Dynasty well—the Willow Tree Well.
