The Jialing River Water Scenic Area encompasses a 25-kilometer stretch of the river from Shaxi Hydropower Station to Jinyintai Hydropower Station, covering a water surface area of over 500,000 square kilometers. The ancient city is surrounded by water on three sides and embraced by mountains on four, offering a breathtaking view of the ancient town across the vast river and allowing visitors to appreciate the enchanting landscape of Langyuan. Here, one can truly feel the spiritual essence and delightful charm of this feng shui treasure land and earthly paradise. After the completion of Shaxi Hydropower Station and Jinyintai Hydropower Station, the 25-kilometer river section between them will offer boat cruises to explore the soon-to-be completed riverside recreational facilities, including: Shaxi Hydroelectric Hub Project and its classical garden-style dam area scenery; Wangjiazui Riverside Bathing Beach; Qieryan Water Sports Arena, featuring dragon boat races, speedboats, kayaking, sailing, model boats, and more; Climbing Ling Mountain to explore historical sites and admire the magnificent confluence of the Donghe River and the Jialing River; Fuxi Culture Park; Jinyintai Hydroelectric Hub and its dam area scenery, including an aquatic zoo and amusement park on the river island.
