Rhinoceros Mountain

Stretching from Luojiang Town in the north to Mingyue River in the south, the northern-to-southern peaks include Rhinoceros Mountain (with the main peak at an elevation of 692 meters), Dragon-shaped Mountain, and Moon Ear Cliff. The elevations generally range from 500 to 600 meters, with relative height differences of 200 to 300 meters. Rhinoceros Mountain is densely forested, serving as Dazhou’s natural oxygen bar. Chengdu Jin Xiniu Company is investing 15 million yuan in its development.

Luojiang Town: A town under the jurisdiction of Dachuan City. In the Qing Dynasty, it belonged to Qingfeng Township of Suining Prefecture. In 1940, it was established as Luojiang Township, became a town in 1952, changed to a commune in 1958, re-established as a township in 1984, and restored as a town in 1985. Located in the central part of the city on the western bank of the Zhou River, it is 11.5 kilometers from the municipal government. Covering an area of 52.3 square kilometers with a population of 20,000, National Highway 210 runs north–south through the town, and the Zhou River allows for year-round navigation. It administers 12 village committees and residential committees: Gaoshi, Jinfeng, Dongba, Taihe, Milin, Miaoping, Tianchi, Hongliang, Laolin, Gaoyan, Shiyan, and Hongying.
