Wu River

The Wu River, historically known as the Qian River, Zhi River, or Fu River, originates from the Guizhou Plateau. It surges from the southwest to the northeast between the Dalou Mountain Range and the Wuling Mountains, stretching 1,050 kilometers in total. The river flows through 46 counties and cities in Chongqing and Guizhou before emptying into the Yangtze River at Fuling. The mountains along the Wu River boast the grandeur of Jianmen Pass, the majesty of the Three Gorges, and the elegance of Mount Emei. Distant peaks exude mystery, while nearby ones inspire awe with their rugged beauty, and valleys are serene and picturesque. Notable peaks include Chaqi Mountain, Danzi Mountain, Fairy Mountain, and Baima Mountain.
