Heishan Scenic Area

Wansheng Heishan Scenic Area is located in the east

of the southeastern edge of Jinxing Township. The scenic area is 20 kilometers from downtown Wansheng and covers an area of approximately 100 square kilometers. With a forest coverage rate of over 98%, the area boasts abundant natural landscapes, including peculiar peaks, lush forests, ancient trees, as well as streams, canyons, and waterfalls; it also contains ancient geological landforms, karst caves, stone forests, and rare wildlife such as animals and monkey troops. This is a rarely visited place, once serving as the summer palace of the ancient Yelang Kingdom, and is surrounded by a wealth of legends. Coupled with the frequent rain and mist shrouding the layers of mountains and forests, the entire scenic area is veiled in a mysterious aura.

The dense forests and mountain ranges are often cloaked in rainy, foggy mists, giving the whole scenic area an air of mystery.

The scenic area’s mountains, forests, waters, waterfalls, caves, rocks, and springs form a variety of unique natural landscapes.
