Wansheng Ordovician Park

Wansheng Ordovician Park, originally known as Chongqing Hushan Scenic Area, is located in the core section of the Heishan–Shilin Scenic Area in Wansheng District. It sits at the central node of the Wansheng tourism loop road, 110 km from downtown Chongqing, 21 km from Wansheng, 12 km from Wansheng Shilin, and 6 km from Heishangu. The entire scenic area has a planned area of 12.57 square kilometers, including a core area of 4.2 square kilometers and a developed area of 2.12 square kilometers. The magical work of nature has created the unique spectacle here of “forests with stones, trees on rocks, and a symbiotic relationship between trees and stones,” resembling a series of natural bonsai, and earning it the reputation of the “Green Stone Forest.”

Shilin Town: Shilin Town is located in the southeastern part of Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone, covering an area of 94 square kilometers with a population of 12,000. It administers 8 villages and 1 community, bordering Heishan Town to the east, Qingnian Town to the west, Potu and Yangdeng towns of Tongzi County, Guizhou Province to the south, and Nantong Town and Wandong Town to the north. The area is served by the Wantong Highway and the Heishangu–Longlin Stone Sea–Jiuguqing Tourism Loop Road. It is a 30-minute drive from downtown Wansheng and a 1.5-hour drive from downtown Chongqing. The town is recognized as a Chongqing Municipal Tourism and Cultural Famous Town and the “Hometown of Hong Miao Song and Dance” in Wansheng Economic and Technological Development Zone.
