Niushikou Gorge

Niushikou Gorge is located at the border between Chongqing and Guizhou in the southern part of Qijiang, about 90 kilometers from the county seat. Stretching approximately 4 kilometers, it features nine gullies and seven shoals, with picturesque scenery. The river water in the gorge is crystal clear, flanked by endless stands of arrow bamboo. Bizarrely shaped stalactites can be seen everywhere, while a variety of uniquely formed waterfalls captivate visitors. Rafting on the shoals is thrilling and exciting. Qixian Rock is shrouded in clouds and mist all year round, with twisted vines rooted intricately. Inside Qixian Cave, the stalactites take on a myriad of strange forms, and the fossils in the Nautilus Cave showcase the geological changes from millions of years ago.

Note: Although it remains undeveloped, you can take a train to Linzhuhe Station.
