Changtian Mountain is located in the southern part of the county, with mountain ranges stretching over 70 kilometers and a forest coverage rate of over 90%. It is a provincial-level forest park. Untouched by logging for over a hundred years, it is currently the best-preserved forest and plant reserve in Qijiang, and is hailed as the “primeval forest” of Qijiang. The area features majestic mountains and unique terrain, standing grand and spectacular. Attractions include Qinglongkou (Azure Dragon Mouth), Hongzhaimen (Red Stockade Gate), Moon Stone, Cloud Customs Pass, and Guest-Greeting Pine. Other highlights such as exploring the bamboo sea, the Pearl Waterfall, ancient pines forming a natural umbrella, fragrant camellias, and the Three Pools in the Forest offer a refreshing and delightful experience.

Changtian- refers to ninety-nine mountains, with majestic peaks and unique terrain. Highlights include Qinglongkou stretching proudly forward, Hongzhaimen soaring towards the clouds, as well as vividly shaped attractions like Moon Stone, Coiled Dragon Stone, Steed Stone, Turtle Stone, and Qinglongkou. With its towering mountains and unique landforms, the scenery is magnificent. Activities such as exploring the bamboo sea, the Pearl Waterfall, ancient pines forming a natural umbrella, fragrant camellias, and the Three Pools in the Forest bring a sense of peace and joy.

Tip: Changtian Mountain has not yet been fully developed, making it ideal for adventure and self-guided tours. Adjacent to Qingxi River, Changtian- is known as Chongqing’s largest “natural oxygen bar paradise,” offering a great destination for exploration, leisure, meditation, and summer retreats.
