The Liu Ziru Memorial Hall serves as a patriotic education base.

Liu Ziru was a renowned industrialist, patriot, philanthropist, and educator in the southwestern region of China before the founding of the People’s Republic. He contributed to the modernization of industry and commerce in old China and donated his wealth to society. He established orphanages to care for abandoned children, founded the YMCA to promote the all-round moral, intellectual, and physical development of youth, went abroad on inspection tours to bring honor to the nation, and even went to the front lines in his seventies. His extraordinary and legendary life was closely intertwined with modern Chinese history and the unique customs and culture of southwestern China.

Currently, the "Chongqing Historical Figures: The Life Exhibition of Liu Ziru" is housed within the "Wansheng District Publicity and Culture Center Building" located on the north side of Wansheng Ziru Square, sharing the same floor with the "Hongyan Circuit Wansheng Cultural Room" to form a comprehensive visiting site.
