Gaomiao Dam Ecotourism Area is a national AAA-level tourist attraction.

Gaomiao Dam Ecotourism Area is located in Gaomiao Village, Guofu Town, Qijiang District, Chongqing, covering an area of 6 square kilometers with an average altitude of 1,100 meters and an annual average temperature of around 15°C. In summer, the temperature here is 8–10°C lower than that of downtown Chongqing. The area boasts lush forest vegetation, abundant natural resources, and rich negative oxygen ions, with no industrial pollution, making it an ideal destination for summer retreats, wellness, and leisure tourism for residents of Chongqing and nearby areas.

There are a total of 187 farm stays in the Gaomiao Dam Ecotourism Area, offering over 12,000 beds and receiving more than 300,000 visitors annually.
