The Bo People's Cliff Tombs are a cultural tourism attraction.

The Bo people's cave dwellings and cliff tomb cultural heritage site on the cliffs of Qingxi River in Yongxin Town, locally referred to as "Manzi Caves," are an important part of Bayu culture.

The Bo people were an ethnic minority that lived in the mountainous regions of southern Bashu before the Ming and Qing dynasties. They made their homes in dense thickets and were known as people who braved through thorny paths—hence the character “Bo” (僰), which is the character for “person” (人) with the addition of “thorn” (棘). The Bo people had the custom of carving caves into cliffs to live in, and after death, they also carved cave tombs or hung coffins on the cliffs, forming cliff tombs or hanging coffins. After the Han Dynasty, the Bo people came to be called the Liao people.

The mouths of these cave dwellings and tombs on the cliffs face Qingxi River, and the surrounding area features numerous rock carvings of high cultural and historical value, such as figures, que gates, tigers, horses, birds, insects, the Xuanwu (mythical turtle-snake) figure, and leaf vein patterns.
