Qijiang Nan Zhou Red Culture Theme Park (Qijiang Martyrs' Cemetery) is a classic red tourism destination.

Qijiang Nan Zhou Red Culture Theme Park (also known as Qijiang Martyrs' Cemetery) was built to relocate and bury revolutionary martyrs who sacrificed their lives during the Second Revolutionary Civil War and in grain collection and bandit suppression campaigns after the liberation. The park covers an area of over 80,000 square meters, and its layout resembles the map of China. It was formerly known as Nanping Cemetery. The cemetery houses the remains of Zou Jinxian and Huo Liru, one of the “Three Huo Heroes” praised by Zhou Enlai, among dozens of other martyrs. Since its successful completion in 1957, the park has undergone continuous renovation, landscaping, and greening efforts. It has now become an important cultural and recreational park in the urban area of Qijiang, serving as a key site for revolutionary tradition education and patriotic education in Qijiang, as well as a cultural relics protection unit of Chongqing Municipality.

The entire park is divided into five functional zones: the Red Culture Exhibition Area at the eastern entrance, the Ecological Leisure Area in the south, the Dense Forest Scenic Area in the west, the Children's Play Area in the southwest, and the North Entrance Area.

The park’s plant arrangement emphasizes landscaping with a well-integrated mix of trees, shrubs, and grasses. Species such as willows, peach blossoms, plane trees, camphor trees, osmanthus, and pomegranates are planted throughout the park. Shrubs and spherical plants are distributed across the grounds, creating a richly layered and well-arranged vegetation landscape. The park also features landscape pavilions, viewing bridges, and corresponding garden ornaments. Notably: 1. The pomegranate grove in the park, verified by experts, is the oldest in southwestern China. 2. A large number of junipers are planted along the roadsides—tall, lush, and robust—vividly reflecting the indomitable and resolute revolutionary spirit of the martyrs.
